​How Do I Place An Order?

 

Many items that are already made can be purchased through my store. If you wish to contact me regarding a custom leatherwork order or repair, please feel free to contact me via email or Facebook. Please know, I work nights as a nurse for my "day" job and may not always respond right away - but I will always get back to you as soon as possible!

 

Order Turnaround Time

Turnaround time for custom orders and services varies greatly on the item and time of year. During the holidays, I prioritize orders with holiday deadlines. Additionally, I work a full time nursing "day" job and spend most of my other days on leather! (not to mention the kids, farm, oh and husband!)

I do my absolute best to get items done timely but quality and satisfaction are of an utmost importance. I will remain in contact with you throughout the process. Some items can take a couple weeks up to a couple months so please keep this in mind when you order.

 

Payment and Shipping

 

Payment is accepted directly through the website or billed via PayPal invoicing for custom orders and repairs. Cash is accepted for in-person transactions.

Custom orders must be paid in full before the item will be created unless otherwise agreed upon. This is due to the fact that custom orders are often much more involved and having personal attributes the prevent resale.

Items are shipped based on the most appropriate method for their size and weight. Expedited shipping is available at buyer's expense. Buyer is responsible for any customs fees that may be incurred for orders outside the USA.

​​Returns & Refunds

 

Custom Orders - Due to their personal nature, returns of custom orders will not be accepted. Any concerns regarding the final design or product will be seriously considered and all attempts will be made to ensure customer satisfaction. It is of utmost importance that the customer loves their item and we will do our best to meet your expectations.

Other Items - Knotty Hide stands behind its items. We will happily repair any item that you receive which is found to have a manufacturing defect within the first 30 days. If a repair cannot be made, a replacement or refund may be offered on a case by case basis. Items must be shown to not have been misused or otherwise damaged and must be returned in good near-original condition for a refund.
