Placing Custom Orders
Custom orders are my specialty. You just tell me what you want, and it's my job to make it come true! Here is specific information on the custom order process.
Make Contact
Once you know what you are looking for, contact me to discuss the details and price. You can message me via email, the contact page on my website, text, or from my Facebook page via Messenger. I try to respond as quickly as I can but as a one woman show, please be patient with me.
This is a good time to have photos/pics ready if you are wanting custom art or examples of other items to help me understand what you are looking for.
Discuss Particulars and Pay Invoice
Once we have a direction and agreed upon price for the project, I will email you an invoice via my PayPal Business account. You do NOT have to have PayPal to pay this invoice. Payment in full is required for custom orders unless other arrangements have been discussed.
Once Payment is made, I will begin your project!
Project Timeline and Delivery
Most average projects with lots of tooling I request 4-6 weeks for completion. Some smaller items only a couple weeks. This can vary on time of year (Holidays) as well as how many orders I have in the shop. I will communicate with you periodically on progress or any snags along the way.
Once completed, I will send pictures for your approval. If shipping was selected, I will get it in the mail as soon as the next available business day. Otherwise, arrangement can be made for the customer to pick up in person,
Custom Belts - 4-6wk turnaround
Price varies from $100 for a simple name stamp up to $300 depending on amount of tooling, art, etc. All belts are hand tooled on Herman Oak leather, hand painted and dyed, double layered, and stitched. They come with a removable belt buckle that is chosen based on customer likes and belt design.
Custom Holsters - 2-3wk turnaround
Price ranges from $80 to $200 or more depending on moulding, tooling, hardware, custom art, style etc. All holsters are made to certain safety standards including NO exposed triggers, no clip-on OWB, and appropriate retention for intended use. For holsters requiring moulding for shape/fit, it is preferred to have the weapon in question at the shop for proper fitting. Otherwise, a suitable replica must be obtained unless already in the shop. All weapons are kept in a locked safe when not being used for working purposes.
Dog Collars - 2-4wks turnaround
My collars are made much in the same way as my belts. They can average from $30 for a plain leather collar to $150+ for an XXL fully tooled collar. I only use stainless or solid brass hardware. They are all double layered and stitched with animal comfort and durability in mind.
Horse Tack - 2-6wks turnaround
Price varies greatly for custom tack. An average bridle with no tooling or special hardware starts at around $85 with a full custom bridle and breastcollar, tooled, painted, and custom hardware is going to be closer to $400-500 for the set. Horse tack is always made with best quality leathers, stainless or solid brass hardware WHERE CAPABLE, and durability for long term use.
Motorcycle Gear - Varies
There is a lot of variety in price and time here as there are a large range of items. Seats can take weeks to months depending on size and detail. Bags and fender bibs not quite as long. Please contact me to discuss pricing.
Notebooks, Wallets, Tallybooks, etc - 2-3 wks
These items are smaller, but not necessarily less complicated than some other items. A standard bifold wallet without tooling is going to start at around $60 whereas a fully tooled full sized padfolio notebook would be in the $200-300 range. Tally books depend on whether they include an inlay calculator or not. Most of these items are also hand stitched due to the detail.
